Exploring Sound Healing Through Singing Bowl Practitioner Training

Combining Theory, Practical Learning and Assessment in a Three-Day Training Experience

Raffles University provides professional learning opportunities that extend into different areas of personal and professional development, including wellness practices.

The Singing Bowl Sound Healing – Level 1 Practitioner Training is designed to provide participants with a professional foundation in singing bowl therapy. The three-day intensive course combines theoretical understanding, practical application and assessment to develop participants’ knowledge and technical skills in conducting individual sound healing sessions.

Building Knowledge Through Theory and Practice

Throughout the course, participants explore the history and science of sound healing, how sound affects the nervous system and chakras, and vibrational medicine concepts including resonance, entrainment and intention.

Practical learning includes chakra cleansing with singing bowls, bowl placement and sequencing techniques, grounding practices, ethical guidelines and considerations for conducting safe one-to-one sessions.

From Learning to Practical Assessment

Practical assessment forms an important part of the training. Participants are required to lead a complete sound healing session using the techniques and sequencing covered during the course, alongside a written assessment and practice case studies.

The course is designed for individuals from different wellness backgrounds, including yoga and meditation teachers, massage and bodywork therapists, wellness coaches and beginners with a strong interest in sound healing.

Through a combination of theory, hands-on practice and assessment, the training provides participants with a structured introduction to singing bowl sound healing and its practical application.
