RU CPD

About Us

What is RU CPD?

Raffles University Centre of Professional Development (RU CPD) was founded in 2011 with the initial aim of supporting the younger generation to be industry-ready. The centre was established as part of Raffles University, a university registered under the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. In 2022, RU CPD added services to focus on professional courses that promote lifelong learning.

RU CPD operates as a Community of Practice actively seeking collaboration with industry partners. By establishing extensive strategic alliances with various industries, our team at RU CPD provides a seamless interface between industries and our stakeholders, opening a world of opportunities for them. RU CPD also maintains close relationships with industry partners for collaborations on projects, research, commercialisation, and internships.

Additionally, RU CPD is fostering a culture of lifelong learning through upskilling, reskilling, and cross-skilling courses. To achieve this goal, RU CPD offers professional programmes, micro-credentials, TVET courses, and customised public or in-house training programs.

The primary objective of RU CPD is to facilitate assimilation across various generations and levels, enabling the industry to grow together through rebuilding, reinventing, and re-strategising careers.
